Put your phone in your pocket. It logs every jump.

Start DZ mode, lock your phone, and jump all day. Cloudbase records each skydive automatically from your phone’s own sensors — freefall time, exit and deploy altitude, speed, and a full GPS track you can replay. No manifest to connect. No form to fill in on the ground.

Recording single jumps is free. All-day DZ mode is Pro — with a free day every month.

A Cloudbase jump detail screen showing freefall time, exit and deploy altitude and speed, all recorded automatically

A jump DZ mode logged on its own — real numbers, no typing.

How DZ mode works

Three taps, then forget about it

01

Start DZ mode

Open Cloudbase at the dropzone, tap Start, and lock your phone. That’s the last time you touch it all day.

02

Jump all day, phone in your pocket

It sleeps between loads to save battery and wakes itself on the climb to altitude. No tapping between jumps, no forgetting the last one.

03

Every jump’s in your logbook

Each skydive lands with freefall time, exit and deploy altitude, speeds and a GPS track — fused on our servers from your barometer, GPS, accelerometer and gyro.

Or wear your altimeter on your wrist

  • Real barometric altitude in freefall, right on your wrist
  • Spoken altitude and canopy callouts in your ear over AirPods
  • Automatic jump detection — every jump syncs to your logbook
About the watch altimeter

However you log, it all lands in one place

DZ mode is the easy way in, but Cloudbase reads your jumps from just about anywhere.

  • Record a single jump free — same automatic detection, no Pro needed
  • Plug a USB altimeter or GPS logger in and Cloudbase reads your jumps straight off it — Neptune, N3, Atlas, ProTrack II, FlySight
  • Your DZ runs Burble or another manifest system? Your manifest jump and your phone jump merge into one clean entry
  • Import your whole back-catalogue from CSV or Paralog — your real jump numbers stay intact
  • Pull GPS tracks from your Apple Watch or FlySight
  • No barometer on your phone? It still auto-records over GPS — or just log a jump by hand in seconds
And once it's logged

Relive it, measure it, share it

Watch it back
