A little help getting started.

Recording and your devices

How do I start recording?

Open the recorder in the mobile app, check the location and sensor status, choose your drop zone and start your session. Use DZ mode for a day of jumping. Set it up on the ground before your jump.

Do I need mobile signal?

Recording happens on your device. Keep the required location permissions enabled and sync when you have a connection again. Set up your session before jumping; maps and online services can require a connection.

Which phones, watches and altimeters work?

See devices and imports for phone recording, Apple Watch, Garmin, FlySight, USB altimeters and logbook files. The recorder shows the sensors available on your phone.

Can I rely on the app for altitude?

No. Cloudbase is supplementary and is not a primary altitude reference or safety device. Use your normal skydiving instruments. Read the product limitations.

Your logbook and plan

Can I bring my old jumps?

Yes. Connect Burble, import CSV or Paralog, use a supported USB altimeter, or enter jumps manually. See import options. An imported entry only has a replay if it also has GPS track data.

What is free, and what is Pro?

Recording, the logbook, Apple Watch altimeter, replay and manual exports are free. Pro adds detailed flight analysis, planning, longer-range insights and other tools. Compare the plans. Any active beta access is shown on your account.

What happens if I cancel Pro?

Your logbook remains available. You can keep using free features and export manually. Paid features remain available until your subscription or access period ends.
