Start with your setup.
There are two ways to bring a jump into Cloudbase: record it with a supported device, or import a record you already have. GPS tracks add replay; a logbook entry works without one.
iPhone and Android
Start a recording session or DZ mode before you jump. Cloudbase uses GPS and available phone sensors to detect and record jumps. A barometer improves altitude measurement and detection; check the recorder’s device and permission status before starting.
Recording continues on the device without a network connection, then syncs when you reconnect. Your phone model, permissions, battery settings and GPS reception affect recording.
Apple Watch
Automatic jump detection, a supplementary altitude display and logbook sync. The watch app is included free with the Cloudbase iPhone app.
The current watch app requires watchOS 26 or later: Apple Watch Series 6 or later, SE (2nd generation or later), or Ultra. Pair it with an iPhone capable of running the required iOS version. Check the App Store listing for the current phone requirements.

Cloudbase Alti is a separate install from Garmin Connect IQ. Garmin support varies by watch; the Compatible Devices list on the store page is the reference for your model.
FlySight GPS tracks can also be imported into Cloudbase. A track gives you the flight path to replay; importing a logbook-only record does not create GPS data.

| Source | What it brings |
|---|---|
| Burble | Sync jump records from your connected Burble account. Cloudbase is independent of Burble. |
| CSV & Paralog | Import existing logbook records. The available details depend on your export. |
| USB altimeter | Import recorded altitude and jump data from supported Neptune, N3, Atlas, Talkable and ProTrack II devices using the desktop import flow. |
| Manual entry | Add a jump yourself and fill in the details you have. |
Review imported records and suggested matches so multiple sources describe the right jump. Logbook import and manual CSV/PDF exports are free.

Cloudbase and its watch apps are not primary altitude references or safety devices. Use your normal skydiving instruments and follow your DZ’s procedures. GPS and sensor data can be incomplete or inaccurate.
